This is when most bariatric patients will begin their staple and drain removal process. Based on your recovery and needs, your physician will schedule one or two more visits in the next three weeks. Additional visits will be determined by you and your surgeon, and are considered ongoing until you are medically sound and fully recovered. Following bariatric surgery, patients will need to commit to lifelong yearly follow-up examines, to ensure optimal health and safe weight loss.
